of the island of Cebu. It is bounded on the North
by the Municipality Daanbantayan; on the South by
the Municipality of San Remegio and Bogo; on the
East by Camotes Sea; and on the West by Tanon Strait.

Topography:
Generally flat which covers 85.6% of the total land area
and is mostly planted with sugarcane. Gently and moderately
sloping reliefs (about 12.9%) can be found in Barangays
Antipolo, Caputatan Norte, Curva, Panugnawan, Kawit and
Maharuhay. Steep relief are located in other parts of
Barangay Kawit and Maharuhay which comprise about 1.5
% of the Total Land area.
Climate :
Medellin falls under the fourth type of climate in the
Philippines which is characterized by no pronounced maximum
rain period and no definite dry season.
