The
City of Mandaue is located on the central coastal
plains of the Province of Cebu, approximately at
10-19-40.34 (degrees-minutes-seconds) latitude and
123-5-28.16(D-M-S) longitude with an average elevation
level of lands of 55 ft. above sea level. It is
bounded on the North by the Municipality of Consolacion;
on the South by the City of Cebu; on the West by
the Municipality of Balamban; and on the East by
the Mactan Channel.

The northern part is characterized by rugged hills and
precipices covers three(3) rural barangays which composes
15% of the City's land area. In the central part a rolling
and undulating flat lands covering fourteen(14) barangays
which comprises 65% of the total land area. The remaining
20% are flat lands which lie's along the coast and is
occupied by at least 10 barangays.
